Senior Quality Assurance Associate

Our client specializes in creating and manufacturing ingredients for the personal care industry and is now looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Associate. Position Overview:
The Senior Quality Assurance Associate will be independently responsible for overseeing QA activities for the fragrance department (no direct reports). He or she will oversee QA programs and policies and strive for continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities of the Senior Quality Assurance Associate:

  • Be accountable for setting and updating quality standards, processes and the quality programs/software that is used
  • Hold others in quality accountable for their production
  • Partner with suppliers as well as internal departments
  • Update requirements for the sale and shipping of products
  • Look for improvements on defects and methods to reduce errors in manufacturing

Qualifications for the Senior Quality Assurance Associate:

  • A passion for Quality and self-driven work ethic
  • 4-8 years' experience in a highly regulated, fast-paced quality assurance role- fragrance experience preferred, but not required
  • Can come from consumer goods, pharmaceuticals or medical device if he or she has strong ISO 9001 experience
  • Experience overseeing Quality Assurance processes and programs in an ISO 9001 regulated environment
  • Great leadership skills, the ability to train, lead, and maintain a positive environment for all, previous supervisory or management experience desired
  • Communication skills for collaborating with high level management

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in scientific discipline desired, Masters degree would also be appropriate

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
