Overview:
The Financial Systems Manager-HFM is responsible for being the functional subject matter expert supporting Oracle's FDM/HFM applications. Primary responsibilities will be the day to day maintenance of HFM/FDM. This includes changes to accounts, entities, FDM mappings, reports, consolidations, and translations of the databases. Additional responsibilities will include user training, testing system/report changes, various Ad-Hoc reporting and assisting the corporate consolidations team with the periodic close process.
This position will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Consolidations, HFM System Process Analyst, and the HFM System Application and Financial Reporting Analyst to ensure that there is adequate cross training and coverage between roles, business critical functions of the HFM system are maintained and functional, and the system is available for all required submission periods to meet financial reporting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Make changes to the application structure within HFM to ensure all scenarios (production, test and training) are properly structured and maintained.
Execute system changes for business rules, web forms, reports, process control, etc. based on requirements identified by Financial Reporting, US GAAP accounting changes and Tax. Ensure the specifications for these changes are properly documented and tested.
Assist in the development, design and implementation of the HFM system, upgrades, interfaces and other enhancements from a functional perspective to meet business requirements for Financial Reporting and Tax.
Maintain security models in HFM in conjunction with Mars IS technical team.
Ensure implementation of all changes following the successful development and testing of the changes. Work with Mars IS technical team to ensure updates occur as needed.
Maintain and understand the HFM business rules and calculation scripts, together with Mars Digital Technologies technical team, to facilitate all reporting, submission processes and consolidations.
Analyze the quarterly cash flow data to ensure all calculations are accurate and any differences are corrected and/or appropriately explained.
Approve migrations and promotions of changes/upgrades to HFM/FDM.
Provide support for all period and quarterly submissions within HFM for both the business unit and corporate users.
Approve journals (JE's) for business units on an as needed basis to support the period and quarterly submissions.
Conduct end-user training on a routine basis.
Be a first responder to incidents and requests, including initial troubleshooting, gathering more information as required.
Continually drive process improvement in the Mars financial reporting process.
Key Skills Required:
Be proficient in HFM, FDM, and other standard office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). The associate needs to be able to quickly get up to speed on current and any new versions of these systems and provide guidance to users.
Development and maintenance of end-user training materials, and guidance for an efficient unit submission process.
Engage and collaborate with units to identify ways to improve and simplify the unit submission process.
The associate must have a good understanding of financial statement consolidations in a large company.
Strong knowledge of internal controls and their application
Excellent organizational skills are needed to effect change and prioritize deadlines.
Ability to effectively function under pressure as it is required to meet submission deadlines. Ability to work beyond a normal workday on occasion without advance notice.
Ability to coordinate and solve problems in a timely manner, with limited supervision.
Good written and oral communication skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, proficient in problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills as the associate will have extensive contact with associates from other Mars, Incorporated business units at a variety of functional levels. There is a need to influence other associate's thinking, understanding and actions to ensure adherence by the Mars business units to the proper reporting requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management Information Systems.
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive work experience with an emphasis on managing/administering a multi-company, multi-currency consolidation system for financial reporting, preferably HFM/FDM.
A working knowledge of US G.A.A.P.and Mars, Incorporated accounting policies and practices as well as familiarity with the units' operations is preferable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
