Director of Inside Sales (771-799)

CSS Industries is a consumer products company, engaged in the design, manufacture, and distribution of seasonal and all occasion social expression products.
We are seeking a creative, solution-driven individual for a director-level role on our growing Inside Sales team! This position can be out of any of our northeastern US offices and reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for our floral division.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage an account base; cold and warm calling to acquire business
Manage a staff of Inside Sales Professionals including tracking team performance and looking for opportunities to improve, developing and implementing sales training, hiring, completing, performance evaluations, and overseeing daily activities
Develop strategies to reach new and existing customers
Partner with marketing function to develop outreach efforts specific to inside sales
Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and other events
Required Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior experience overseeing an Inside Sales department
Experience selling tangible products is required
Experience servicing customers within floral, gift, craft, or a related industry is highly desired
Experience working with a CRM
Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency required
Willing to travel to other company locations, trade shows, and customers

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
