Are you ready to build your career by joining a multi-national MedTech organization? If so, our client is hiring a Tax Accounting Intern! What You'll Do:
Learn how to prepare Federal, State, and Local Income and Franchise Tax Returns, including collecting and analyzing financial data, calculating book/tax differences, and preparing supporting work papers. Facilitate deliverable exchanges between SMS and external service providers, one of which will be a heavy focus in the months of May-August Be willing to learn how to prepare the monthly tax provision. Interface with Accounting / Finance / Treasury and tax employees concerning tax-related matters. Willing to reconcile financial and tax accounts. Participate in special projects as assigned. Communicate orally and in writing with tax authorities. Gather documentation and provide analysis. What You'll Bring:
Working toward a B.A./B.S. in Accounting Rising junior preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) required. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat or comparable software. Position Type:
