We are a participating Grow NJ Kids school which has its own quality requirements above and beyond NJ Licensing Requirements.
We are also a Reggio-Emilia inspired school focusing on the needs of each child and viewing them as truly capable participants in their own learning.
We believe in the 100 languages of children-that each child has their own way of learning, playing, and developing.

We follow a NJ state aligned curriculum in all our classrooms that teachers must adhere to and implement daily.
We are not a babysitting service.
We do not expect our staff members to sit and watch the children all day.

Classrooms are set up with intent and purpose and are modified throughout the days to meet the needs of the children it serves.
Our infant room class features low student to teacher ratios which makes employee attendance an absolute must for our school.

Requirements:
Must have current CDA credential Must be reliable to come to work each day on time, every time Successful completion of state background checks and fingerprinting Minimum of 2 year's experience working specifically with infants ages 6 months-18 months Must be flexible daily to meet the needs of your classroom Must be willing and able to complete 20 hours of professional development training each year in addition to ongoing training on the Reggio-Emilia approach and philosophy Must be able and willing to work either an 8 or 9 hour shift between the hours of 7:
30 am and 5:
30 pm Must be able to attend teacher in-service days as well as all other staff training whether online or in person Preference will be given to candidates who:
have an Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field Essential job functions include but are not limited to:
changing diapers bottle feeding feeding meals recording activities in school app for parents to view implementing the curriculum provided and following the daily classroom schedule bending, kneeling, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds from ground to changing table and high chair height ability to be outside in all weather including sun/heat, rain, snow, etc ability to walk and run as the job dictates ability to handle minor child injuries and illnesses such as vomiting, cuts, bruises, and other bodily fluids ability to work as a team and be courteous and respectful of all staff members NOTE:
all staff are required to follow any other job-related duties given to them by a person of authority.
Job related duties may change from time to time to meet the needs of the children under our care.
