Summary:
To organize, update, stock, and maintain Ingredient Sample Library, Retain Sample Library, and RMD Library, while providing services, including product analysis, to fill sample requests from customers, salespeople or customer service within a 24 hour response.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Maintain Sample library with sufficient stock that is dated, labeled and organized for easy reference Replenish sample stock as necessary and reevaluate and relot expiring materials if necessary Prioritize and fill all customer sample requests (internal and external) originating from sales or customer service within a 24 hour time frame thru SAMTRAC while considering correct code, price of material, expiration of material, level of customer, and available stock Complete demonstration projects by participating in meetings and tasting sessions, preparing, testing, and modifying samples (including solutions), confirming flavor projects meet all flavor and GHS regulations for contents and use level, packaging and shipping perishables and attending presentations as required Enter RMD samples into QRI spreadsheet and when requested, prepare, blend qualities, analyze, coordinate GC/GCMS analysis, compare qualities and provide analyzed results Conduct wet spec analysis of samples when necessary and provide these plus olfactive results Update customers, customer service or sales on sample delays Repack samples from warehouse inventory by filing a sample request form when necessary and following rules for stench items, solids, and viscous products.
Maintain full traceability of inventory stock and submitted lots thru Oracle, Procis, Samtrac, Access, and other necessary data bases Pack samples in proper containers based on volume, consistency and strength of odor Label samples with proper GHS compliant labels and hang tags as created in Oracle.
Order samples from internal or external vendors or suppliers.
Obtain and print the MSDS, technical data sheet, and any other specific documentation as requested by customer for each sample to accompany shipment Create, print, email to sales and file a shipping request form/sample letter for samples leaving the facility.
Package sample(s) and documentation in proper shipping container and process FED EX or UPS shipment as necessary Insure that all unused solution and perishable samples are organized and stored properly for future use Maintain Marketing Database (RMD) Samples by logging all necessary information into Access sample form and Ingredients Drive Maintain Retain Sample Library (24 months) by collecting and organizing samples for easy reference Insure that laboratory is maintained, fully stocked, functioning, resourced and kept clean When necessary, assist the shipping department in correctly packaging and processing packing and shipment of outbound samples in accordance with GHS requirements Follow and ensure strict safety procedures and safety checks Handle other related tasks or projects as assigned Understand and execute all necessary requirements for ISO 9001 Remain accountable for all defined responsibilities as defined by ISO 9001 process flows COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GD Fluency in English Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365 2 years of prior working experience in a laboratory environment Basic chemistry skills Preferred:
College degree in related field Advanced knowledge of Oracle 4 plus years of prior work experience in fragrance/flavor laboratory Ability to perform sensory evaluations WORK ENVIRONMENT:
General laboratory environment with adequate lighting, temperature and minimal noise level Minimal time required in warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust and odors PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking during various times of the day May be rarely required to lift weight up to 50 lbs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
