Manage, plan, and coordinate one or more Warehouse processes ensuring that fragrance logistics run smoothly, within quality and safety standards and cost goals for service requirements to customers.
Lead inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation and warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management for a small/medium site.
You will report into Logistics & Process Manager and is located in Mt.
Olive, NJ.
You will:
Strategy design and execution Contribute to the design of the local Operations strategy by providing input regarding Logistics plans and improvement programs.
Elaborate the annual Logistics road map and oversee the execution of related activities to meet local Operations goals.
Function management Lead warehouse and distribution center teams to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or goals and resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
Monitor product import or export processes and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
Design, deploy and maintain local logistics SOPs following corporate policies or procedure.
Investigate and deploy comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal al-location, delivery, recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business processes, such as customer sales, order management, ac-counting, shipping or recommend purchase of new or improved technology, such as automated systems.
Analyze all aspects of logistics to determine the most cost-efficient material flow whether related to routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning to develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios inclusive third-party logistics partners.
Maintain reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
Establish models and metrics (Indicators) for use in evaluating logistics performance.
Maintain material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
Control that warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with company (EHS) guidelines and public safety regulation.
Monitor training programs for warehouse and distribution center staff to strengthen capabilities.
People management Conduct annual human resources processes for the local Logistics team(s) and validate results.
Work with the local Operations management team and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local talent pipeline in for the function.
Improve the development and promotion of identified talents within and outside local Operations.

Your professional profile includes:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
4 to 7 years of experience in logistics in a manufacturing environment.
1 to 2 years of experience in people management.
Experience handling simultaneously in a.
Lead Continuous Improvement activities for this area.
Knowledge of transportation supplier landscape.
Knowledge of material flow systems, technologies and ERP system.
Proficiency in shipping and receiving regulations and protocol.
Knowledge of local and international material/product safety/security norms and regulations.
Knowledge of supply chain function and processes.
